Abstract

The story of nuclear development in South Korea provides a model
that countries that aspire to obtain nuclear energy must emulate. It is
a story that shows the prospects for nuclear integration, the
advantages of full nuclear fuel cycle technologies when they focus on
the localization of the nuclear industry, and a model for the national
benefits of this type of nuclear integration. The indirect benefits of a
strong domestic nuclear industry; which makes it can ensure its
position as a global leader in the field of nuclear energy.
