Abstract

Blue Growth is a new economic and planning concept that aims to promote economic growth and social inclusion in order to maintain or improve livelihoods while ensuring the sustainability of oceans and coastal areas. From this logic, this working paper, in an unprecedented way, deals with research objectives related to the extent to which visions and initiatives related to preserving the urban heritage in the Red Sea Basin are compatible with the principles of blue growth, and how through the value chain framework we can ensure benefit For all concerned parties, as the research reviews a case study of the cities of Yanbu in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Al-Qusayr in the Arab Republic of Egypt to apply a proposed methodology for the value chain of heritage development according to the blue growth system, and then evaluates the results of this study and draws a set of considerations and implementation mechanisms related to the implementation of the value chain of blue growth In the Red Sea, so as to achieve integration in the Red Sea entity and achieve a competitive advantage in front of other similar entities around the world .
