Abstract

The archaeal bone is subjected to several types of damage (chemical, physical, biological, human).
This damage depends on many factors, including the composition and type of bones, their condition before burial, and the effect of the soil on them
And the changes that occurred during the burial. In this work, the condition of the structure will be documented and the most important factors will be addressed
And manifestations of damage to a skeleton preserved in the museum storehouse in Al-Diabat - Sohag, using the means
Examination and analysis such as digital microscopy, scanning electron microscope, spectroscopic analysis
Infrared, and it indicated the extent of weakness in the morphological structure of the bones, where we note
Some corrosion, cracks and voids in the internal structure, and a general weakness in the surface appearance in addition
For the presence of some clicking or small pits. A study was made of the surrounding environment and temperature monitoring was done
Humidity at intervals of time and identifying the sources of ventilation and lighting, and whether they are natural or natural sources
Industrial, also from the analysis of infrared spectroscopy showed the presence of calcium carbonate on the surface of some
After microbiological examination, it was found that there was no microbial infection in the skeleton.
