While heritage and cinema are two different disciplines,
researchers find considerable similarities between them. In his 
paper, the different messages transferred to people by them, are 
discussed. Both are messengers for visual aesthetic and spiritual 
experiences, nostalgia stimulators for communities, reflectors of 
cultural identity and enhancers of the self-esteem. Moreover, they 
are a fundamental part of the so -called the “cultural construct" 
for societies. As conclusion, the two domains are directly 
connected to common people, since they reflect their lives, 
history, achievements, debates, traditions, hopes and failures.
