Abstract

The main objectives of this study were to determine the level of
knowledge training needs to reduce the harmful effects of using pesticides on the
environment.
Data were collected from 158 respondents as a random sample from three
distracts in Benghazi, Al Marj, and El Beida using prepared personal
questionnaire.
Data were analyzed using: Percentages, Frequencies, Correlation,
Coefficient, and Chi-Square test.
The results showed that:
About 76% of the respondents had a low level of knowledge about
reducing harmful effects of using pesticides that indicate a great training need
demand in this area of study.
The majority of respondents wanted to be supplied with information about
the area of this study through training.
According the Chi-Square value it revealed that there is a significant
relationship between each of these variable (Age, Education, Specialization,
Period of work in AGZ-work, The level of training and communicative openness)
and the level of knowledge about reducing harmful effects of using pesticides.
