Abstract

The importance of the economic projects and the development of the society is
clear. Egypt has great economic potentials in the fields of national work, with the aim
of transforming the economic and social structure according to the scientific analysis
of natural and human resources. The study aims to study and analyze the relevant
economic and social variables And to achieve the following objectives: Analysis of the
most important indicators of human development in Fayoum Governorate, study the
potentials and determinants of activating the developmental role of NGOs in Fayoum
Governorate, evaluation of some development projects and services provided by
NGOs, and their results in achieving higher rates of human development in Fayoum
Governorate. The most important results were obtained.
The results of the general human development index and indicators in Fayoum
governorate showed that the general evidence for the governorate was about485,0
Which means that Fayoum governorate is located at the low level of development
which falls within the level of 48500- 48554 According to the HDI global scale index.
As for the characteristics and indicators of the deprivation index in Fayoum
governorate, which show that the deprivation index reached %8.,3 at the governorate
level, the high rate of deprivation in the rural areas, which reached about %5.,3 of the
urban, which was about 85.03 The services provided to the rural population, which
means the high percentage of deprivation in the province, at the level of all the basic
areas, which include the standard of living, education, unemployment and health.
With regard to the features and indicators of the Women's Empowerment
Index in 8402, which show that the Human Development Index for the field of women
reached %,0, at the governorate level.
The results of the indicators of economic analysis of the projects of economic
development according to the net yield index in the Egyptian pound, where the project
was followed by 0,54, the dairy industry by 044, the clothing and detailing project
0844, the vegetable and fruit project 0854, , Agricultural seedling projects (,%%8%%),
raising and trading poultry feed (274), shops and grocery (0044) compost project
(744).
