Abstract

This study focused on identifying the gap in red meat in Egypt, during
the period (2000 – 2015). To achieve the objectives of this study, methods of
quantitative and qualitative analysis was used. Results showed an increasing
trend in producing, consumption, percapita consumption as well as food gap in
red meat in Egypt during the period under study.
