ACUTE AND SUBCHRONIC TOXICIY SIUDIES OF BAYLUSCIDE IN TILAPIA NILOTICA FISH

Abstract

The present study were carried out to investigate the toxic effects of the moulluscicide ( Bayluscide ) in Tilapia nilotica fish. The LCC of bayluscide in Tilapia nilatica fish was 0.366 ppm.
Subchronic toxicity study was carried out by daily inoculation of 1/10 LC dose for six weeks. The changes in blood constituents in both acute and subchronic toxicity studies were recorded. Also the activities of Alk. phosphatase. GPT, and GOT enzymes were investigated.
