Abstract

Dimensional differences between the cervical and lumbosacral enlarge ements in the three examined birds revealed that the highest percen tage of length, volume and GM. volume and the largest ratio of mean of C.S.A. to the mean C.S.A. of the whole cord was observed in cervical enlargement of pigeon (flying bird) and in lumbosacral enlargement of chicken (running bird).
