Abstract

Several outbreaks of fowl cholera were recorded as endemic recurrent epornitics in breeder poultry farms. The causative organism was isolated and serologically identified as 5 and 8: A serotypes of Pasteurella multocida. Clinically, an acute intermittent from as well as a long lasting chronic one were observed. Postmortem and histopathological findings were described and discussed.
