Abstract

The study was conducted in Syrian Arab Republic on 20 horses of various breeds affected with chronic digital flexor tendinitis.      Three cases were treated by using blister. The study has revealed that  this method is not effective in treating chronic digital flexor tendinitis. Moreover, line firing was also used with blister in three other cases, but it was useless for treating these  horses.      Penetrating pin firing with blister was effective in the return of horses to competition after six months .     When line firing was applied with pin firing and blister on / 10 / cases, / 7 / cases were cured  and returned to practice and competition.
