Abstract: The objective of this research is to provide a model for the development of cost tables using the method of artificial neural networks in order to enhance the competitiveness of the firm, and also to achieve the objectives of the research, the proposed model was applied on one of the Libyan industrial companies. A model was made in order to estimate the cost of using multiple regression method for the preparation of traditional cost tables, and to build a model to estimate the cost by using neural networks method for the preparation of cost-developed tables, the comparison between them was done by using some precision scales. The study concluded that the cost tables can be developed which will contribute to the improvement of the level of accuracy of the cost estimate, and reduce the cost of the product, and also to meet the needs and desires of customers, subsequently enhance the competitiveness of the firm.
