أهمية البحث: البحث يقف على مدى تأثر سعد الله ونوس، توظيفه الحکاية الشعبية ،ليثبت من خلالها رؤيته لقضايا عصره.
أهداف البحث: الوقوف على مدى تأثر سعد الله ونوس بالحکاية الشعبية،وکيف وظفها فيمسرحه ليطرح من خلالها قضايا تؤرقه.

نتائج البحث:
ـــ اعتمد سعد الله ونوس اعتمادًا کليًا في کتابة مسرحياته الثلاثة ــ عينة البحث ـــ على الحکايات الشعبية العربية.
ـــ أضاف سعد الله ونوس بعض الأحداث من خياله على الأحداث المستلهمة من الحکايات الشعبية العربية.
ــــ حذف سعد الله ونوس بعض الأحداث والتفاصيل من الحکايات الشعبية التي استلهمها من التراث الأدبي العربي ، کما أنه عدًّل بعض التفاصيل حين لزم التعديل ؛ وذلک کله من أجل التعبير عن رؤيته المسرحية.
ــــ طرح ونوس من خلال استلهامه الحکاية الشعبية بعض القضايا التي تهم العالم العربي کله، وتتلخص هذه القضايا في طبيعة العلاقة بين الحاکم والمحکوم.
ـــــ التزم ونوس بأصل الحکاية الشعبية التي استمدها من التراث الأدبي العربي بشکل کبير.
ــــ الحکايات الثلاث التي استخدمها سعد الله ونوس في مسرحياته الثلاثةـــ عينة البحث ــــ هي حکايات متداولة على ألسنة الکثير من الناس ، ويعرفها عدد کبير من العامة ، بل وتشکل جزءًا من وعيهم الثقافي.

Saadallahwanous, through his inspiration for the popular story, raised thorny issues that deserve research and shed light on them.
Research objectives: To determine the extent to which Saad Allah and Nous benefited from the folktale. And learning about the nature of the issues raised by Saad Allah wanous in his theater.
Research type and methodology: Research is descriptive research in content analysis.
Research community: all the plays written by SaadallahWanous.
The research sample and its type: The researcher deliberately chose the following theatrical scripts: The adventure of the head of the MamlukJaber, the king is the king, and the elephant, oh king of time.

-Saadallahwanous added some events from his imagination to the events that are inspired by Arab folk tales.
- Saadallahwanous deleted some events and details from folk tales that he inspired from the Arab literary heritage, and he also modified some details when the amendment was necessary. All this in order to express his theatrical vision.
