Abstract

Alienation is a human phenomenon found in the presence of man, and it is one of the issues that put us face to face in front of man in the human issue, and therefore it represents the common concern of many human disciplines such as (philosophy, psychology, sociology, politics, art, literature, .. ), and many artists, through the long career of art, have so far expressed feelings of alienation and other cases associated with it, such as fear, escape, rejection, .., and they dealt with in their various artworks topics that expressed their visions and societies, and the Cairo-influencing factors in Their lives and their surroundings, also the psychological dimension, and how the psychological factors and stresses of the artist or resulting from external factors surrounding him, as well as the degree of interaction of those who connoisseurs of artworks, negatively and positively. And communicate with them, and then try to express through their artwork in general and graphic arts in particular. The manifestations of alienation were represented in the works of many artists around the world, including the Italian Giorgio de Chirico, the Norwegian Edvard Munch, the American artist George Tooker, and the Syrian Marwan Kassab, and others.
