هذا البحث يهدف إلى الوقوف على معرفة المراد من آيات الأحکام ومتى يجوز صرف لفظ الآيه من ظاهرها وما الضابط بصرفها من هذا الظاهر وکيفية عمل الفقيه الأصولى والمفسر فى بيان المراد بالآيات التى ظاهرها غير مراد مما يدل على سعة الشريعة الإسلامية وغزارة نصوصها على القطعية منها کالإيات القرآنية التى ثبوتها قطعى إلا أنها ليست کلها قطعية فى دلالتها مما يدل على أهمية فهم آيات الأحکام وأن منها ما هو ظاهر معناه ودلالته وان منها ما يکون ظاهرها غير مراد فيؤخذ بدلالته الغير مراده فى إثبات الحکم الشرعى المقصود من هذا الظاهر الغير مراد.
