Materials and Methods:40 male albino rats were used. The animals were classified into four main groups, ten rats for each group: Group I, II  were subjected to surgical wound in the buccal mucosal area without using any treatment materials for 4 and 7 days respectively. Group III, IV  were subjected to surgical wound in the buccal mucosal area with propolis treatment for 4 and 7 days. The rats were sacrificed after the specific duration. Section were prepared for staining by Haematoxylin-eosin(H-E) and trichrome stain.
Results:results  showed  more epithelization, collagen fiber formation in experimental groups than control groups.
