Objective: This study was conducted toevaluate effect of low level laser therapy (LLLT)on implant healing in tibia streptozotocin –induced diabetic (STZ-D) dogs. Materials and Methods:Six male adult dogs ranging in age from 12 to 18 months with a mean weight of 10 kilograms were used in this study. Before the study, general health of the dogs was monitored for 10 daysAlldogswasadiminstritingareapted dose  of STZ (65mg/ kg)to induce diabetic , two implant  was inserted in each dogs , on in right and left ,right implant was expse to laser delivery system (petro laser ) Model SL202 with wave length  870, potency of 100 MW.Anamils was euthanatized to obtain specimens for evaluation at 2,4,6 week,andprepardforH&Estaning and trichrome stain. Results:the results ofhistologicalstudyshowedthat the process ofhealingofthebonein the tibia withthelaserfaster and betterthanthosewithoutthelaserwherehebeginningoffourweeksafter the surgery, and increasedwiththeend of the sixthweek,meaningthatthe bone trabeculeaformationin the tibiawithlasermorethantibiawithoutlaser. Conclusions:Conclusionfrom the result of this study it could be concluded that : duration of laser application  is directly proportional to faster healing around implant space , mutration of bone and the quality of bone formation
