Abstract

The present work was performed to illustrate the harmful effects of different doses of Tegretol which has active ingredient (Carbamazepine; CBZ) on the genetic of the adult albino rat and on the prenatal foetuses of rat at 20th day of gestation. Tegretol (CBZ) noticeably, increased chromosomal aberrations and decreased the mitotic index.
