Abstract

A total number of 160 fishes were collected alive with different sizes and lengths from several and various locations in Lake Nasser during November 2021to June 2022 during four seasons from different types of fishes. (Claris gariepinus, Malapterurus electricus , Oreochromis nilotics , Hydrocynus forskalii, Lates niloticus , Mormyrus Cashive , Auchenoglansis biscutatus , Chrysichthys auratus , Claris gariepinus, Malapterurus electricus) fishes were examined about infections by cestoda species parasites. We identified the isolate cestoda according to morphological feature band according to other lituratures showed the infection of Malapterurus electricus and Claris gariepinus by Based on light microscopic examination. as shown by L.M and were determined the health statues of infected and non-infected fish through determination growth parameters of fish by equation of condition factor and the results showed that only 2 types of fish were infected , others were free from cestodal infection. The main of rate of infection in Malapterurus electricus fish during 4 seasons were in Autumn (70 %), winter (95%), Spring (85%) and Summer (75%, while infection in Claris gariepinus were in Autumn (75 %), winter (60%), Spring (50%) and Summer (90%), while infection in others types of examined fishes (Oreochromis nilotics , Hydrocynus forskalii, Lates niloticus , Mormyrus Cashive , Auchenoglansis biscutatus , Chrysichthys auratus , Claris gariepinus, Malapterurus electricus) were clear from infection. External clinical examinations showed no abnormalities between the infected and non-infected fish. With no significant differences in the condition factors.
