التمکين السياسى للشباب ولا سيما فئة الشباب الجامعى يعد أحد الآليات الهامة التى طبقتها جمهورية مصر العربية فى السنوات الأخيرة ولا زالت تطبقها وذلک للمساهمة فى دمج وانخراط الشباب فى المجتمع وضمان ولائه وإنتمائه وحمايته من الوقوع فى براثن الإنحراف الفکرى والتطرف والإرهاب والتى عانت منه الدوله لفترات زمنية ليست بالقليلة ، وقد إستهدف البحث الراهن تحديد دور المؤتمرات الوطنية للشباب فى تحقيق التمکين السياسى للشباب من خلال تطبيق الدراسة على عينة قوامها 420 طالباً وطالبة من طلاب جامعتى عين شمس والزقازيق سواء المشارکين فى حضور تلک المؤتمرات أو المتابعين لها ، وأسفرت النتائج عن أن تلک المؤتمرات ساهمت فى تشکيل الوعى السياسى للشباب من خلال تشجيعهم على المشارکة السياسية الفعالة ودعم قيم الولاء والإنتماء للمجتمع فضلاً عن تنظيم مجموعة من الفاعليات الجامعية کنماذج محکاة لتلک المؤتمرات لتدريب الطلاب على حرية الرأى واحترام الرأى الأخر وطرح القضايا السياسية والمشارکة فى صنع وإتخاذ القرار .
 
The political empowerment of youth, especially the university youth category, is one of the important mechanisms that the Arab Republic of Egypt has applied in recent years and is still applying, in order to contribute to the integration and involvement of youth in society, ensure their loyalty and belonging and protect them from falling into the clutches of intellectual deviation, extremism and terrorism, from which the state has suffered for periods of time that are not In a few, the current research aimed to determine the role of national youth conferences in achieving political empowerment of youth by applying the study to a sample of 420 male and female students from Ain Shams and Zagazig universities, whether participants in attending those conferences or following them, and the results revealed that those conferences contributed to Shaping the political awareness of young people by encouraging them to participate actively in politics and supporting the values ​​of loyalty and belonging to the community, as well as organizing a group of university events as models for these conferences to train students on freedom of opinion and respect for the other opinion, raising political issues and participating in decision-making and decision-making.
