Abstract

Current web contains billions of documents and has many administrative
problems and limitations. The semantic web will be the extension for the current
web. It is still the main topic of many researches. Many researches suppose the
XML schema as the language used to make restriction to XML documents. This
paper represents the Document Type Definition; compare it with XML schema to
see which one is suitable for the semantic web.
