تعد الإدارة الإلکترونية مجالاً للولوج إلى عالم فسيح لمؤسسات الأعمال في التفاعل والتواصل خارج حدودها والتکيف مع التوجهات الجديدة للانفتاح . وقد أتاحت التکنولوجيا والمتمثلة بشبکة الاتصالات عبر الإنترنت وما يرافقها من مستلزمات مادية في أن تکون أرض خصبة واسعة للاستخدام والتفاعل مع مواقع وتعاملات الإدارة الالکترونية .
يهدف البحث إلى تأطير فکري ونظري لأبعاد ومفهوم الإدارة الإلکترونية من خلال الترکيز على دور الإدارة الإلکترونية في تحقيق کفاءة وفاعلية الأداء لمؤسسات الأعمال ضمن هـذا الحقـل الجديـد فـي التعـامـلات الإداريـة المختلفة، فضلاً عـن تـأشـير مجالات عمل الإدارة الإلکترونية والجودة الشاملة في الأعمال وبالتالي الخروج بعدد مــن التوصيات التي تصب في ضرورة تبني الإدارة الإلکترونية باعتمــاد الجــودة الشاملة .
