يرکز هذا البحث على فحص أعمال شرکة النفط العراقية في الأردن خلال الفترة الواقعة بين 1931-1963م، و  بيان الإنجازات التي قامت بها الشرکة، خلال فترة عملها في الأردن، تلک الإنجازات التي کان لها أثر في تطوير بعض المرافق العامة، مثل الطرق البرية، و المطارات، و شبکة الاتصالات الهاتفية، و مصادر المياه التي تم تطويرها في منطقة الامتياز، و التي کان لها انعکاسات إيجابية على مرافق الحياة المختلفة. کما أن بعض أعمال الشرکة لم تخل من استغلال کافة المقدرات و الإمکانيات الأردنية بأقل تکلفة، و ذلک إنطلاقاً من سياسة الشرکات في تحقيق أکبر قدر من الأرباح بأقل قدر من التکاليف، فضلاً عن إرتباط الشرکة بالحکومة  البريطانية، و هي الدولة المنتدبة على الأردن، و التي تسعى إلى إستثمار کافة المقدرات، و تسخيرها لمصلحتها، فجاءت سياسة الشرکة متطابقة مع سياسة الحکومة البريطانية Abstract: This research examined the works of the Iraqi petroleum company in Jordan during the period between 1931-1963, and the achievements of the company, during the period of it's work in Jordan, these achievements had some impact in the development of public facilities, such as roads, and airports, and tele-communication, and water resources that have been developed in the concession area, this achievements reflects in a positive impact on the different facilities. on the other hand Some of the company's works did not disturb the exploitation of all abilities and Jordanian capabilities at the lowest cost, and so out of corporate policy in achieving maximum profit with minimal costs, as well as the company's link to the British Mandatory government on Jordan, and all seeks to invest all estimators, to their advantages, specially the company's policy was a part of the British government policy.
