Naos[i] is a box of stone or wood, surrounds the statue of a god to save and protect it, which is a wall that becomes difficult to penetrate. It has a door closed and sealed by the king who impersonates the role of the high priest. Hence, it is clear that kings and not the senior staff sealed most of the private sarcophagi.  Specifically the kings between the Twenty Seventh and Thirtieth dynasties; during which the sarcophagi making became important and were placed in temples(fig.1).
