Abstract

Agricultural support policies are one of the most controversial points in all forums of the World Trade Organization, as they have been the subject of a long debate between the developed countries on the one hand and the developing countries on the other hand, as many opinions see that the laws in the agricultural agreement in their current state are still not made for it, which is Raising the ability of developing countries to develop their agricultural sectors, but despite the transformation of subsidy policies into other forms, they still work in the interest of the agricultural sectors in developed countries. The first is the problem of the study, the objective of the study, the description of the study sample, the data sources that were relied upon in the study. It also dealt with the research method used in the study and explained the theoretical framework of the research method used in the study.

The second chapter dealt with two chapters, the first of which dealt with trade liberalization agreements and the emergence of thought related to liberation and globalization, and the historical developments that ended with the current legal form of international trade liberalization, while the second chapter dealt with the development of agricultural support policies and their laws in accordance with the World Trade Organization, and the classification of agricultural support categories and the impact of each category on global trade. In the third chapter, the reference review of the most important studies, research and scientific theses related to the subject of the thesis in general and the various aspects related to it was dealt with, to benefit from the results reached by others, and to try to overcome the obstacles they encountered, in addition to avoiding scientific and methodological errors, if any, in these studies. The studies in this section varied between local studies and global studies. As for the fourth chapter, it dealt with the analysis and description of the current situation of the study variables related to support and the relations among them in some developed and developing countries, as well as the development of agricultural policy in these countries, as well as the development of agricultural support policies in Egypt and their current status.
As for the fifth chapter, it analyzed the impact of agricultural support policies on global trade in agricultural commodities, by studying the impact of different categories of support on: agricultural exports, agricultural imports, agricultural domestic product of the countries under study, and the European Union was dealt with as a case study for developed countries , where tests of co-integration models were conducted for the relationships between the aforementioned variables, and it should be noted that the results of the study showed the existence of long-term equilibrium direct positive relationships between green agricultural support and the ability of developed countries to increase their exports and reduce their exports, as well as its positive impact on GDP. agricultural.
The study ended with recommending the need to reconsider the support policies that fall under the category of the green fund, as they also have a distorting effect on agricultural trade. developed countries globally and weakens the agricultural sectors in developing countries from meeting their basic needs and the ability of their products to access global markets.
