تناولت هذه الدراسة الحديث عن (کي) و(لام کي) التي تعتبر من أهم حروف المعاني   في الدراسات العربية من حيث الاستعمال ودلالة المعنى والحکم النحوي، و حاولت الدراسة  أن تقدم شيئا من التفصيل والتوضيح في الموضوع، وهدفت الدراسة إلى الوقوف على استعمالات کي ولام کي في العربية  وأنواع کي، وما يتعلق بها من أحکام ودلالة المعنى، وإلى الفارق بين التعليل بکي والتعليل بلام کي  .. واستخدم الباحثون المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الذي يقوم على الجمع فالمقارنة ثم النقد والنتيجة.
وکان أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها الباحثون هي أن: کي لها استعمالات ومعان عديدة في الکلام العربي، منها: أنها تکون حرفية فتجر ما بعدها، وتکون مصدرية، وتکون تعليلية لا مصدرية، وتستعمل اسمية أحيانا.
 
This recent study dealt with (ki) and (lam ki), which are considered among the most important letters of meaning in Arabic studies in terms of usage, meaning and grammatical judgment, The study attempted to provide some detail and clarification on the subject, The study aimed to identify the uses of ki and lam ki in Arabic and the types of ki, And what is related to it in terms of rulings and the significance of the meaning, and to the difference between the reasoning of By ki and the reasoning of  by lam Ki.. The study used the descriptive analytical method, Which is based on plural, comparison, then criticism and conclusion, and the study was divided into two axes: the first: Ki in Arabic, in which uses ki and its accusative form for the present tense are given, and the dispute is in its accusative itself, and it is permissible to omit it, The second: the grammatical rule of the mother of the reasoning and the difference between the reasoning by ki and the reasoning by the by lam.
The study concluded that ki has many uses and meanings in Arabic speech, including: it is literal and denotes what follows it, it is infinitive, it is reasoned rather than infinitive, and it is sometimes used as a nominative
