هدفت الدراسة إلى بناء معايير في التربية البيئية في کتب العلوم, لدى طلبة الصف الثامن الأساسي, ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة, جرى بناء قائمة معايير التربية البيئية, وجرى التأکد من صدق أداة الدراسة وثباتها, واحتوت على (5) مجالات، و(26)معياراً، واتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في ضوء معايير التربية البيئية، وتکونت عينة الدراسة من کتاب العلوم للصف الثامن الأساسي في الأردن من العام الدراسي 2021/2021م، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن نسبة توافر معايير التربية البيئية في کتاب العلوم للصف الثامن الأساسي هي (84%) وهي نسيبة مرتفعة, ، وأوصت الدراسة بتضمين محتوى کتاب العلوم للصف الثامن الأساسي لمعايير التربية البيئية لتحقيق الثقافة البيئية والوعي البيئي. The aim of the study was to build standards in environmental education in the science books for the seventh and eighth grade students. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a list of (26) items of environmental education standards was constructed in the light of environmental education standards  . The validity and objectivity  for the study instrument was verified and confirmed. The researcher followed the analytical descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of science books for the seventh and eighth grades in Jordan for the academic year 2020/2021. The results of the study showed high availability of environmental education standards in science book for the eighth grade (84%).  The study recommended that the content of science books for  eighth grade must included the standards of environmental education to achieve the awareness  culture of environmental awareness.
