هدف البحث إلى معرفة أثر استخدام تقنية الواقع المعزز في تنمية المفاهيم العلمية ومهارات البحث عن المعلومات لدى طلاب الصف التاسع المتوسط بدولة الکويت ،  وتکونت عينة البحث من ( 60) طالبا بالصف التاسع المتوسط خلال الفصل الأول من العام الدراسي 2019/2020 ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي في البحث تحليل وحدة الجهاز الهضمي بمقرر العلوم بالصف التاسع المتوسط لتحديد المفاهيم العلمية الواردة بها ، ثم بناء قائمة مهارات البحث عن المعلومات ، ثم إعادة صياغة الوحدة المختارة باستخدام تکنولوجيا الواقع المعزز ، ثم بناء اختبار المفاهيم العلمية وبناء اختبار تحصيلي في مهارات البحث عن المعلومات وبطاقة ملاحظة لتلک المهارات ، کما تم استخدام المنهج شبه التجريبي في اختيار مجموعة البحث وتقسيمها الى مجموعتين ضابطة وتجريبية ، والتأکد من تکافؤ المجموعتين ، ثم تطبيق الوحدة المعدة باستخدام تکنولوجيا الواقع المعزز على طلاب المجموعة التجريبية بينما درس طلاب المجموعة الضابطة نفس الوحدة بالطريقة التقليدية ، ثم تطبيق ادوات القياس بعديا على مجموعتي البحث ،وتوصل البحث إلى نتائج تفيد بأن استخدام تکنولوجيا الواقع المعزز قد أسهم في نمو المفاهيم العلمية ومهارات البحث عن المعلومات لدى طلاب المجموعة التجريبية وبفروق دالة إحصائيا عن طلاب المجموعة الضابطة وقد خلص البحث إلى عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات في ضوء النتائج .          The aim of the research is to know the effect of using augmented reality technology in developing scientific concepts and information search skills for intermediate ninth grade students in the State of Kuwait, and the research sample consisted of (60) students of the ninth intermediate grade during the first semester of the academic year 2019/2020. Descriptive approach in research Analyzing the digestive system unit in the science course of the ninth intermediate grade to determine the scientific concepts contained in it, then building a list of information search skills, then reformulating the selected unit using augmented reality technology, then building the scientific concepts test and building an achievement test in the search skills for information And a note card for those skills, and the quasi-experimental approach was used in selecting the research group and dividing it into two control and experimental groups, ensuring the parity of the two groups, then applying the unit prepared using augmented reality technology to the students of the experimental group while the control group students studied the same unit in the traditional way, then applying Telemetry tools on the two research groups, and the research reached conclusions that use augmented reality technology Has contributed to the growth of scientific concepts and skills of searching for information among students of the experimental group, and statistically significant differences over students of the control group. The research concluded with a number of recommendations and proposals in light of the results.
