Abstract

This study is conducted in a trial to find out how the Jordanian citizen has updated his trust in his governmental institutions during the period of the Corona virus pandemic crisis, and the extent of the government's ability to gain the trust of the citizen, during the period extending from the initial phase of the crisis to the acute phase in the Fall of 2020. To this end, the government's role in containing the crisis was identified out of the consideration that managing the crisis is one of the priorities of the Jordanian state's policy, which has always thrived to create a healthy and political sound Jordanian society. The research utilized the descriptive approach as the scientific methodology for analysing this study. The conducted analysis indicated that the Jordanian government's policy and decisions clearly contributed to creating a state of relative trust with its citizens.
