This study focuses on the human values distribution and presentation within the
Arabic courses and curriculums for non-natives speakers aiming to develop the
current Arabic courses and curriculum. The paper covers at "Arabic for the
World" series as the sample for the studying using quantitative methods.
The study concluded that the three parts of the series include fourteen out of
fifteen human values. The repetition rate in the first and third parts was reduced
while the repetition in the second parts decreased. The highest frequency
recorded in the three books was the value of cooperation and the development of
the collective spirit. Second, came to the value of science
appreciation. Respectively, the lowest frequency recorded values in the three
parts: self-confidence, guests hospitality, and honesty. The values in all parts
were distributed equally in descending order: the position of the exercises, the
texts, the tests, the pictures, and finally the headlines.
