Abstract

The Impact of Computer Simulations in Teaching Science on the
Achievement and Retention of Students in Elementary Students Stage in
Jordan
This study aimed at identifying the impact of computer simulations in
teaching science on the achievement and retention of students in elementary
students stage in Jordan, the study used the Semi-experimental method, and the
test was used as a study tool, a random sample of (62) students of Jerash
Governorate was selected.
The study findings showed that there are statistically significant differences
between the performances of the students of the two groups on the achievement
test in favor of the students of the experimental group who were taught using the
computer simulation method. And the study findings showed that there are
statistically significant differences between the performances of the students of
the two groups on the retention test in favor of the students of the experimental
group who were taught using the computer simulation method.
