تعد التربية الإعلامية وسيطا تربويا ضمن وسائط المؤسسة التعليمية ، وذلک لما له من اثر ملموس في تحقيق الأهداف المنشودة ، کما تعنى التربية الإعلامية بمساعدة الطلاب على فهم حقوقهم وواجباتهم ، في إطار تناوله لمنظومة الحقوق الإنسانية التي تضمناها المواثيق الدولية ، وتقدير قيم الشورى والإخلاص وحب الوطن والانتماء واحترام الآخر ومواجهة الشائعات ، ومحاربة الانحرافات الفکرية والمنحرفين وفق الطرق المناسبة ( الخطيب ، 2010
ونظرا لأهمية وضرورة توعية الأطفال بحقوقهم کما وردت باتفاقية حقوق الطفل ، التي أقرتها الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في 20 نوفمبر عام 1959م ، وتقع هذه الاتفاقية في ديباجة وثلاثة أجزاء وتتوزع أحکامها على 54 مادة وتؤسس الديباجة منطلقات الميثاق ومرجعيته ، وقد أوضحت تلک الاتفاقية ، المقصود بالطفل حيث ذکرت انه : کل إنسان لم يتجاوز الثامنة عشر ، وتؤکد على أن الطفل کي ينمو ويترعرع شخصيته بتناسق ، يجب أن يکون في بيئة عائلية وفى جو من السعادة والمحبة والتفاهم، کما ينبغي إعداد الطفل إعداد کاملا ليحيا حياة فردية في المجتمع ويتحلى بروح المثل العليا والإخاء، دون اى نوع من أنواع التمييز ( يونيسيف ، 1990)، لذا کان من الضروري أن تلعب التربية الإعلامية باعتبارها احد الوسائط التربوية الهامة دورا في ذلک ، حيث يمکن بواسطتها إکساب الأطفال العديد من الخبرات والمعارف والقيم المتعلقة بهذه الحقوق0
ونظرا لندرة الدراسات التي تناولت دور التربية الإعلامية في نشر ثقافة حقوق الطفل جاءت هذه الدراسة وقدم الباحث من خلالها رؤية تربوية لتفعيل نشر ثقافة حقوق الطفل من خلال التربية الإعلامية ووسائله المختلفة بمدارس التعليم الاساسى بمحافظة الدقهلية.

In view of the importance and necessity of raising children's awareness of their rights as set forth in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on 20 November 1959, this Convention is in a preamble and three parts. Its provisions are divided into 54 articles and the preamble establishes the principles and reference of the charter. Every child must be prepared to live an individual life in society and to live in a spirit of ideals and brotherhood, Without Z type of discrimination (UNICEF, 1990), so it was necessary to play media education as one of the important educational media role in it, where they can give the children through which many of the experiences, knowledge and values ​​related to these rights.
In view of the scarcity of studies that dealt with the role of media education in spreading the culture of children's rights, this study presented an educational vision to activate the dissemination of the culture of children's rights through media education and its various means.
