يتميّز البلقان بوجود العديد من المدن التي يدخل الوقف في تركيب اسمها (اسكندر وقف Skender Vakuf وغورني وقفGornji Vakuf الخ)، مما يشير إلى أن تأسيسها ارتبط بوقف ما أو بنواة عمرانية موقوفة لغرض خيري، كما لدينا مدن أخرى نشأت من نواة عمرانية مشابهة (جامع ومدرسة وحمام وخان وسوق الخ) أوقفها أحد أبناء المنطقة وتحوّلت بعضها إلى عواصم للدول الحالية مثل سراييفو(البوسنة والهرسك) و تيرانا (ألبانيا). ويسعى هذا البحث إلى توضيح هذه الخصوصية لدور الوقف في البلقان خلال الحكم العثماني للمنطقة من خلال ست نماذج متجاورة تتوزّع الآن بين ألبانيا وكوسوفا. Abstract In the Balkans there are several cities connected in names with the waqf like Skender Vakuf anf Gornji Vakuf etc, which means that their establishing connected with creating a new urban core (Mosqe,medresa,hammam,han etc) by waqf, and so other cities which are connected with a such urban core created by one of the native waqifs , becoming later capitals of states such as Sarajevo (Bosna & Hercegovina) and Tirana(Albania).In this context, the article aims to present the role of the waqf in establishing 6 new cites in Albania and Kosovo during the Ottoman period.
