Abstract

Examination of the gill and gastrointestinal tract of sixty imported yellow croaker fish (Larimichthys polyactis) from North Coast at Port Said governorate, Egypt, in the second half of 2011 resulted in the recovery of one species of monogenean trematodes and three species of digenean trematodes. The prevalence of monogenic trematode, Encotyllabi spari was 11.7% while that of digenean trematode, Opecoelus sphaericus in intestine, Glomericirrus amadi and Lecithophyllum fuscum in stomach were 13.3, 8.3 and 6.7% respectively. The morphological features of those trematodes were illustrated.
