Empowerment of women and its impact on legislation

Abstract

The concept of woman empowerment creates a multitude of complex problems: starting with a vague and loose concept and going through the difficulty of isolating the components of social reality, to identify the direct and exact effect of empowering action. The recent paper shed light on several ambiguous jurisprudential issues between women and men. These issues and problems contributing in the blurrily of equality concept for many jurists, and for ordinary people. Empowering women through achieving equality, is considered as a developmental axiom. The starting point of empowerment is by identifying theoretical and conceptual basis of women empowerment, and avoiding the injustice reality, and structuring an Arabic model of empowerment, and making it more expressive of the reality, concerns, and aspirations of the Arab world.
