Abstract

Despite her short life, Malak Hifni Nasif, known as Bahithat al-Badiya, was a prominent Egyptian reformist, as well as a feminist figure who had a significant contribution in Modern Egyptian thought .Starting with the concept of (feminist epistemology), this paper sheds light on the discourse that Bahithat al-Badiya had presented; its forms, main issues and thoughts. The paper argues that the contribution  of Bahithat al-Badiya  represents a distinguished version of (feminist epistemology) that was characterized mainly by its engaging in reform process on the ground, away from prejudices and ideological arguments, and by its flexible and realistic theme that met the actual needs of a society in transition.
