Abstract      The study aims to identify the level of authentic happiness among couples and the differences in authentic happiness between spouses concerning the marriage duration. The study relies on the descriptive approach whereas the sample consisted of (70) educated husbands and wives whose ages range between (25-47) years. The study utilizes the authentic happiness scale by “Martin Seligman translated by Safaa Al-Asr". The study shows that the level of authentic happiness among spouses is higher than the average. Also, there are statistically significant differences in authentic happiness among spouses according to the marriage duration, where the differences are in favor of the marriage duration exceeding (8) years.
