A Strategy for the Selection of Regression Models with Two Qualitative Regressors

Abstract

This article proposes a strategy for the selection of regression models with quantitative response and two qualitative regressors. The proposal is based on the minimization of an estimator of the Mean Square of the Prediction Error within a predefined class of models. Some structures for the interactions are considered, among which are those proposed. Some graphs are proposed to diagnose the form of the interaction.
