Abstract

ABSTRACT Cerebral palsy (CP) is a neurodevelopmental condition caused by a disturbance in the infantile or fetal brain's development. It affects more than 17 million people all over the world. The aim of this review paper is to include an in-depth review of the literature surrounding the causes, diagnosis, and related disorders of CP, as well as therapeutic approaches that may contribute to a comprehensive treatment plan for children with cerebral palsy Contrary to common opinion, CP can be caused by a variety of factors, including hypoxia or ischemia at birth. The motor function, part(s) of the body affected, and severity must all be determined during diagnosis; diagnosis techniques have recently improved. The associated diseases must also be identified in order to receive medication. Keywords: Cerebral Palsy, Treatment, Intervention, Pediatrics
