Older adults are the most susceptible group to covid 19 and those with chronic underlying medical disorders. The covid 19 crisis is likely to have a profound consequence on both the mental and physical outlook of older individuals as a result of disruptions to social interactions, contact, and support. Violence against older adult has risen severely since the beginning of the covid 19 pandemic and burden of lockdown measures. So , public authorities target older people to convince them to comply with preventive measures. Covid 19 needs to be understood as a wakeup call to ensure adequate nursing care for the elderly based on evidence, the requirements of an aging population, responsibility, and social welfare. A strong public health response in the form of urgent and joint action is needed to generate global preparedness and to protect this at risk group. Older individuals need complex health care, often because of multi morbidities. This increased burden on health-care delivery systems presents a challenge for all and, if not specifically addressed, may cause a crisis.
