Abstract

Upholstery fabrics are one of the most important types of fabrics that the textile industry produces and presents to the consumer public, and in its production it enjoys a great deal of precision and the utmost care is taken. The upholstery fabrics differ in nature, whether in terms of design or production, from the rest of the types of fabrics. This difference is due to factors related to the nature of those types of fabrics. Among these factors are the nature of raw materials and their different effects on the methods of employing and using upholstery fabrics as an element of design and production. Therefore, it was necessary to pay attention to this type of fabric due to its quality in performance and appearance to be able to compete. The importance of this research lies in imparting innovative aesthetic effects to the production of different types of linen and fabrics using different fabrics and fabrics designs. A number of designs were selected, and the final anti-wrinkle preparation was carried out on the covert fabrics to show its effect on the tensile strength and elongation property - weight per square meter - the angle of release before and after the anti-wrinkle treatment for a number of five samples in different of counting yarns group of pure linen 25%: Polyester 75% counting yarns 10 - 100% wool counting yarns 24/2 - 100% wool counting yarns 12/2. After studying the statistical results of the tests, it was clear that there were significant differences between the samples treated before and after processing against wrinkle due to the difference in the type of material and the counting yarns of weft threads used in the production of the covers, whether they were linen or wool, as well as the difference in the ability of each sample to prepare against the processing and the functional type of the final  raw  material. For the fabrics of the produced covers, compared to the control for other samples.
