Abstract

The national crafts heritage represents the sum of the experiences that the craftsmen inherited from their fathers. The traditional crafts depend on familiarity with hand techniques and distinct formations imposed by the material and the surrounding environment, which bear signs and symbols that are remnants of times when these signs were a major focus in the customs, beliefs and practices of the community. So that these symbols have their readable significance as well as their function, and heritage is considered one of the fixed components of identity, where nations are known by their national identity. Others, as a result of their failure to preserve themselves and confirm their presence, are a clear and explicit indication of the importance of heritage, and so that we can preserve the identity from loss, we must focus on the authenticity of the legacies deduced from our heritage arts, but with a new vision and formulation in its shape  vocabulary that consists of it to bear the characteristics of authenticity and contemporary, Among the crafts that are closely related to the field of textile printing is the traditional Al-Tali craft, which is replete with many symbols and plastic vocabulary, which is a source of inspiration for the designer because of its creative and heritage values ​​that were and still are the best expression of a cultural heritage that is still alive in the conscience of the people, where these vocabulary can be formulated In the form of contemporary typographic designs using specialized graphic programs capable of confirming our national identity. Research problem : The research problem lies in the following questions: How to benefit from the system of values and Shape elements found in the national craftsmanship (the Tally craft), which would add new horizons to the design of printing women's clothing accessories. The Egyptian market's lack of print designs bearing the Egyptian identity derived from the aesthetic values of the national craftsmanship. Despite the numerous academic studies that have been exposed to heritage arts, they did not deal with the study of the national heritage in general and the Tally craft in particular, which requires further research. Significance: Shedding light on the importance of heritage in general and the national craft heritage in particular, and its close connection to identity affirmation. Contribute to enriching the Arab library with a new specialized study in the field of printing fabrics for women's clothing supplements that confirm identity through our national craftsmanship. Converting the traditional patterns used in the traditional tally craft into modern printing patterns used to print fabrics to complement women's clothing. Introducing the younger generations to the importance of the national craftsmanship, as it is the product of ethical and cultural values ​​inherited from previous generations, and this heritage can be reached for universality through designs capable of confirming identity. Objectives: The research aims to: Confirming the identity of the product of printed women's clothing accessories through the creative and aesthetic values of our national craftsmanship.  Contribute to highlighting the importance of the national handicraft heritage and protecting it from extinction as it constitutes an important aspect of human culture. The presence of the Egyptian designer on the global design map through designs derived from our national craft heritage and confirming the identity in a contemporary style. Implementation  of a set of printing designs for women's clothing supplement fabrics using modern printing techniques. Research Methodology: The search depends on the following procedures; Descriptive Analytical Approach and Experimental (Applied) Approach: Results: The national handicraft heritage (Al-Tally craft) possesses many shapes and aesthetic values that make it a rich source of inspiration for the designer in making modern heritage designs that contribute to the affirmation of identity. Creating innovative design solutions by analyzing the symbols, vocabulary and elements of the national handicraft heritage (Al-Tally craft) and adapting them into design experiments for fabrics for complementing women's clothing that carry and confirm the identity. Using some programs specialized in design, as well as digital printing technology in printing, it was possible to produce designs for fabrics that complement women's clothing bearing the identity in a contemporary way.
