The present research aims toanalytical study of the effective factors in the design of printed upholstery fabrics (aesthetic - humanity - technology) .It is done through opinion poll model directed to sample of consumers in the Arab Republic of Egypt (employees - Housewives) from Cairo and Giza aged 30 to 45 years old. Then analyze the results to identify the requirements, needs and preferences of the consumers. Then create modern designs for printed upholstery fabrics to meet the needs of the consumer and reflect his actual requirements and desires. The research depends on the product design triangle which is consists of three main sides. The first side represents the aesthetic aspects. The second side represents the humanitarian aspects. The third side represents the technical aspects. This triangle represents the basic requirements that must be present and available in any product used by human. The philosophy of choosing the form of the triangle shape is that the triangle shape still incomplete without the confluence of its three sides. This symbolizes the relationship of interdependence between the product design system, which is represented in the aesthetic, humanitarian and technical aspects. The reason for choosing the form of equilateral triangles is the simplest geometric shapes .The equal sides symbolizes the equal importance of all aspects of aesthetic, humanitarian and technical. Any change in the length of one of the sides changes its shape and affect the lengths of the other side. This symbolizes to pay attention to one of the design system. The Results: Results for the average ratio of the importance of the availability of aesthetic factors in the design of upholstery fabrics when the acquisition was 62%. - The average measurement of the impact of human factors in the attraction of the consumer to the product and the satisfaction of the psychological aspects were 57%. - As for the results of measuring the impact of technological factors in the selection of printed upholstery fabrics product, it was 93%. In most products, the product design triangle was not equilateral; it takes different forms and multiple styles. The ratios change between the three sides of the triangle. As for the design of the printed upholstery fabrics product the technological aspects side was bigger than the humanitarian and aesthetic aspects, while in the same time, the designer must pay attention to the humanitarian and aesthetic aspects . Through the survey's results, .the designer submitted designs that meet the needs of the consumer and reflect the actual requirements and desires. After the designs, the researcher made field research to see the impression of consumers about the submitted design.
