The importance of oil crops is due to the fact that the demand for them is a demand derived from the demand for the production of vegetable oils, the study aimed at studying the lifting and distributing costs of a one cubic meter of groundwater under certain depth according to different energy sources (i.e., electricity, diesel, and solar energy), according to two irrigation systems used in the new lands (i.e., sprinkler and drip irrigation systems). To achieve the objectives of the study, The fixed costs and the variable costs of raising and distributing the cubic meter of groundwater were estimated according to the energy source and according to the irrigation systems under study. The most important results of the study were summarized as follows: It was found that the most appropriate system for irrigation of soybeans, according to the economic evaluation, is fixed sprinkler irrigation with solar energy, which cost about L.E 1046.71 /Fadden. It was found that the most appropriate system for irrigation of sesame is fixed sprinkler irrigation with solar energy, which cost about L.E 678.91 /Fadden. It was found that the most appropriate system for irrigation of sunflower is the fixed sprinkler irrigation with solar energy, which cost about LE 729.40 /Fadden.
