The olive crop is one of the sources of the diversity of agricultural production, and therefore, the advancement of the productivity of this crop is essential to meet the growing demand as a result of the population increase, on the one hand, and increasing incomes and the purchasing power of consumers on the other hand, this is in the olive harvest, ranked second in the list of the crop structure fruit crops in North Sinai governorate where the relative importance of about 30% of the total size of horticulture during the average period (2009 -2013). Despite the importance of the olive crop in North Sinai Governorate, but this crop is low efficiency and productivity in the light of the rise of the reconstruction of the olive trees and the existence of local items characterized by low productivity.
