هدف البحث إلى التعرف على فاعلية نموذج الاستقصاء التقدمى فى تدريس الرياضيات على تنمية مهارات الحل الإبداعى لمشکلات الرياضيات والتفکير عالى الرتبة لدى طلاب الصف الأول الثانوى، وتکونت مجموعة البحث من مجموعتين عددهما (40طالبًا) أحداهما تجريبية والأخرى ضابطة، وتم تطبيق أدوات البحث قبليًا ( اختبار الحل الإبداعى لمشکلات الرياضيات – اختبار مهارات التفکير عالى الرتبة)، ثم التدريس وفق نموذج الاستقصاء التقدمى لطلاب المجموعة التجريبية بينما درس طلاب المجموعة الضابطة بالأساليب المعتادة ، ثم تطبيق أدوات البحث بعديًا ، وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى : فاعلية نموذج الاستقصاء التقدمى فى تدريس الرياضيات على تنمية مهارات الحل الإبداعى لمشکلات الرياضيات والتفکير عالى الرتبة لدى الطلاب ، وکذلک وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائيًا بين درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية على کلًا من اختبار الحل الإبداعى لمشکلات الرياضيات واختبار التفکير عالى الرتبة فى التطبيق البعدى، وقدم البحث عددًا من التوصيات منها : الاهتمام بتطوير مناهج الرياضيات فى المراحل التعليمية المختلفة فى ضوء نموذج الاستقصاء التقدمى وإثرائها بمشکلات رياضياتية مفتوحة النهاية تتحدى قدرات الطلاب العقلية وتثير تفکيرهم ، وترکيز کتب الرياضيات فى تقويمها على قياس مهارات الحل الإبداعى للمشکلات والتفکير عالى الرتبة بجانب قياس الجوانب المعرفية التحصيلية ، وتدريب معلمى الرياضيات على استخدام نماذج واستراتيجيات تدريسية حديثة کنموذج الاستقصاء التقدمى .
The research aimed at investigate the effectiveness of Progressive Inquiry Model in teaching mathematics on developing Creative Solving of Math Problems and Higher Order Thinking among first grade Secondary Students. Research group consisted of two groups of (40 students) one experimental and the other control. The research tools have been pre administrated (Creative Solving of Math test and higher order thinking test), then taught for the experimental group according to Progressive Inquiry Model while teaching the control group according to traditional methods. Finally, the research tools have been post administrated. Result of the research revealed a effectiveness of the Progressive Inquiry Model in teaching mathematics on developing Creative Solving of Math Problems and Higher Order Thinking for Students . And there is correlation function between the exprimental group student's grades on the test of Creative Solving of Mathematical problems and scores on the higher order thinking test in post application. The research presented a number of recommendations such as: Interest in developing mathematics curriculum at different educational stages based on the progressive inquiry model and enriching them with open-ended mathematical problems that challenge students' mental abilities and stimulate their thinking, Mathematics books focus on measuring creative problem-solving skills and high-order thinking, in addition to measuring the achievement cognitive aspects and training mathematics teachers to use modern teaching models and strategies such as the progressive inquiry model.
