هدف البحث إلى التعرف على وجهة نظر الطلاب المعلمين تخصص رياضيات لمفهوم تعليم وتعلم الرياضيات وإجراءات تعليمها وتعلمها، والکشف عن العلاقة بين مفهوم تعليم وتعلم الرياضيات وبين الممارسات التدريسية للطلاب المعلمين في التربية العملية الميدانية، وتکونت العينة من 15 طالباً من طلاب الرياضيات بکلية التربية جامعة حائل، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي، وأعد استبيان لمفهوم وإجراءات تعليم وتعلم الرياضيات، وأظهرت نتائج البحث ضعف فهم الطلاب المعلمين تخصص رياضيات لمفهوم تعليم وتعلم الرياضيات، وضعف فهمهم لإجراءات تعليم وتعلم الرياضيات، ودلت النتائج على عدم وجود علاقة دالة إحصائياً بين مفهوم تعليم وتعلم الرياضيات وبين ممارساتهم التدريسية في التربية العملية الميدانية، وأوصى الباحث بإعداد دورات تدريبية للطلاب المعلمين تخصص رياضيات بشکل عام ومعلمي الرياضيات بشکل خاص لتعريفهم بطبيعة مادة الرياضيات، وطرق تعليمها وتعلمها. The current study aimed at investigating the viewpoint of students- teachers specialized in Mathematics in the concept and the procedures of Mathematics Teaching and learning. In addition, it aims to identify the relationship between the concept of teaching / learning of Mathematics and student-teachers' performances in the practicum. The study sample was 35 student-teachers specialized in Mathematics at Education Faculty, Hail University. A descriptive method was utilized. A questionnaire of the concept and procedures of mathematics teaching and learning was designed to achieve the objective of the study. The study has revealed that there is a lack of the student-teachers' understanding of the concept and procedures of teaching and learning mathematics.  Moreover, the study revealed that there is no significant relationship between understanding mathematics' teaching and learning concept and performances in the practicum. The researcher, therefore, recommended that training courses should be conducted to the student-teachers in order to help them understand the methods of teaching and learning mathematics.
