هدف البحث الحالي التعرف على فعالية استراتيجية تدريسية مقترحة قائمة على بعض عادات العقل في تنمية التحصيل في مادة الرياضيات ومهارات التفکير الرياضي لدى تلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي، وتکونت عينة البحث من (80) تلميذ وتلميذة من تلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي بمدرستين من مدارس إدارة نبروه التعليمية، موزعين على مجموعتين إحداهما تجريبية وعددها (40) تلميذ وتلميذة، والأخرى ضابطة وعددها (40) تلميذ وتلميذة، ولتحقيق هدف البحث أعد الباحث اختبارين أحدهما لقياس التحصيل في وحدتي الأعداد الطبيعية والقياس، والثاني لقياس مهارات التفکير الرياضي، وتم تطبيق الاختبارين على مجموعتي البحث قبليًا للتأکد من تکافؤ المجموعتين، وبعديًا للتحقق من فعالية الاستراتيجية المقترحة، وأسفرت النتائج إلى الآتي: -         وجود فعالية للاستراتيجية التدريسية القائمة على بعض عادات العقل في تنمية التحصيل في مادة الرياضيات لتلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي. -         وجود فعالية للاستراتيجية التدريسية القائمة على بعض عادات العقل في تنمية مهارات التفکير الرياضي لتلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي. -         وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائيًا عند مستوى (0٫05) بين درجات تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية في التطبيق البعدي لکل من الاختبار التحصيلي واختبار مهارات التفکير الرياضي.    وفي ضوء تلک النتائج يوصي الباحث بضرورة توظيف عادات العقل داخل مقررات الرياضيات لما لها من مردود إيجابي في إکساب التلاميذ المعارف والمهارات المتنوعة. effectiveness of the strategy based on some the habits of mind in mathematics for primary stage students in developing achievement and mathematical thinking   The objective of the current research is to determine the effectiveness of a strategy based on some habits of mind in mathematics for primary school students in developing the level of achievement and mathematical thinking The sample consisted of (80) male and female  students in the fifth grade in two schools in Nabrooh Educational Administration, divided into two groups, The first is an experimental one includes 40 male and female  students, and the control group includes 40 male and female  students      To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared two tests; one of them is to measure the degree of achievement in the units of normal numbers and measurement, and the second is to measure the skills of mathematical thinking. The tests were applied upon the two research groups .pre-post to ascertain the equivalence of the two groups and post-test to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy. The research comes to the following results: -The effectiveness of teaching strategy based on some habits of mind in developing the degree of achievement in mathematics in the fifth grade primary school students -The effectiveness of teaching strategy based on some of the habits of mind in the developing mathematical thinking skills for fifth grade primary school students. -There is a significant correlation between the scores of the experimental group in the post-application of both the achievement test and the mathematical thinking skills test at the level of 0.05    In light of these results, the researcher recommends the use of mental habits within the mathematics courses because they have a positive impact in providing students with knowledge and skills.
