يعد الغزو المغوليّ الأول لمملکة المجر (1241- 1242م) أحد أکبر الأزمات التي عانت منها المجر عبر تاريخها، ومن الحوادث الأساسيّة التي شکلت تاريخ المجر، حيث أدى إلى تغيرات مهمة في تطورها السياسيّ والديموجرافيّ والعسکريّ. کان يحکم مملکة المجر في تلک المرحلة الملک بيلا الرابعBela IV (1235- 1270م) بينما کان أوکتاي خان Ogedi khan ( 1229- 1241م) هو خان المغول الأعظم. ويتناول البحث بالدراسة معرکة موهي Muhi 11 إبريل 1241م التي کانت المعرکة الرئيسة بين القوات المغوليّة والمجريّة خلال الغزو المغوليّ الأول لمملکة المجر، ويظهر أهم النتائج التي ترتبت عليها.
The first Mongol invasion of the Kingdom of Hungary (1241-1242 AD) is one of the biggest crises that Hungary had experienced throughout its history, and one of the main incidents that shaped the history of Hungary, as it led to important changes in its political, demographic and military development. The kingdom of Hungary was ruled at that time by King Bela IV (1235-1270 AD) while Ogedi Khan (1229-1241 AD) was the greatest Khan of the Mongols.The research deals with the study of the Battle of Muhi, April 11, 1241 AD, which was the main battle between the Mongol and Hungarian forces during the first Mongol invasion of the Kingdom of Hungary, and shows the most important consequences of it.
