Abstract

Mansoura city includes the largest gathering of the distinctive service activities of the delta region and we find many urban axes, including these health, commercial and educational services,  Bank Masr street is considered one of the most important urban paths within the heart of the city, so it was chosen as a case study for the research paper and shed light on the elements of urbanism by monitoring the current situation for him and then developing a development proposal in accordance with the foundations of urban design to form a distinctive visual image worthy of the material and moral value of the city of Mansoura. The research paper begins by presenting the general elements to form the visual image complementary to the path of contract, borders, distinctive marks and gates as well as study the physical components, which affect and affect the motor and fixed activities of the users, all according to the foundations of urban design to complete the study through the signing of the theoretical study on the current situation of  Bank Masr  street and submit a proposal for development and improvement of the performance of the path as a study step to improve the city of Mansoura.
